Why do you like being an illustrator in 10 words or less?

I like the dada-ness of the life of an illustrator. Wine one day, 1920′s Greece the next.

If you weren’t an illustrator, what would you be?

A Costume designer

What illustration job would you love to get (your dream job)?

Illustrate book on the history of fashion design or go and draw at the fashions shows in Paris, London and Milan… Travelogues, Arabian Nights,

Play with my son.

What’s the strangest work experience you’ve ever had?

Outside of illustration I was a host for aborigine dancers and storytellers in London. Inside Illustration – perhaps drawing women trimming their pubic hair.

“what was lost” Catherine O’Flynn- not great- its taking me forever, though its an easy read.

What recent book do you recommend for a good read?

Not recent, but The Third Policeman by Flann Obrien is wonderful
