I am one of a group of about 100 or so artists invited by Creative Director Mark Murphy to create an original work celebrating Cartoon Network’s 20th anniversary. (read more here.) The work will be featured in an exhibition, catalogue and a collectable mini zine will be distributed for free at Jett Gallery and the Murphy Comic-Con Booth ( Comic-Con 2012 San Diego No. 4833), limited to 4000 copies. Each invited artist represents distinct creative categories including: painting, sculpture, print making, typography, design and illustration and have been paired up with a Cartoon Network show or character. My “character” is Huckleberry Hound and the title of the piece is “huck abstract(ed)ly.”
