How do you stay inspired?
There’s always a goodie or spark of inspiration everywhere I look. I think the key is providing my mind enough space to wander.

Where do you buy your art supplies?
We have a Blick Art supply store and I go there.

Do you work traditionally or digitally?
I work digitally but I’ve also been working with gouache and ink lately and want to experiment more with those.

What color combination are you most excited about right now?
Hot pink and tan!

Why do you like being an illustrator in 15 words or less?
Illustration is how I can disperse joy pings into the universe.

If you weren’t an illustrator, what would you be?
A nutritionist! I’m fascinated by how food affects our minds and bodies.

What illustration job would you love to get (your dream job)?
I would love to write and illustrate a children’s book.

Name something you do in your spare time.
I’m into fitness, particularly running and strength training.

What’s the strangest work experience you’ve ever had?
I used to work as a graphic designer for a business that was build INTO an old bridge! Literally there was a bridge, and our building was build right into it. We used to joke we were trolls!

What recent book do you recommend for a good read?
Little Fires Everywhere.

Where would you like to travel to next?
I’ve been dreaming about Tokyo and Berlin.

Brene Brown’s “Unlocking Us”, Brene Brown’s “Dare to Lead”, Hysteria

Ted Lasso, Schitts Creek, Fleabag, Watchmen

“Ripe for the pickin’ peach”

Do you wear shoes when you do art?
Yes! And then at the end of the day I put on house slippers. It helps me transition into relax time.

What do you listen to while you work?
I don’t usually listen to music while I work. I like to really tune into my thoughts.

What artist are you reincarnated from?
An old timey sign painter and unicorn mashed together.

Running, cross training and yoga.
