How do you stay inspired?
I love to shop at thrift stores and antique shops. I also like to look at blogs and Pinterest.

Where do you buy your art supplies?
I like to go to a shop down the street called I’ve Been Framed. Its a framing and art supply shop that has lots of great supplies both new and used. They are a family run shop that has been around for 60 years.

Do you work traditionally or digitally?
I work mostly digitally, but I love to incorporate my ink drawn sketches.

What color combination are you most excited about right now?
I always love bright colors. I’m really into mustard, bronze brown and hot pink.

Print & Pattern, Design Sponge, My Vintage Book Collection, Grain Edit, Design Work Life, Decor8, and Pinterest.

Why do you like being an illustrator in 10 words or less?
I like to make things that make others happy. :)

If you weren’t an illustrator, what would you be?
I would be a treasure hunter.

Name something you do in your spare time.
I like to sew, bake, garden, and thrift shop when I have spare time.

I am reading mostly blogs right now.

Where would you like to travel to next?
I would love to travel Northern Europe. There are so many beautiful countries I would love to visit.

Antiques Roadshow.

What movie have you seen several times?
The Big Lebowski.

Spongebob Squarepants.

Vermont Cheddar

Do you wear shoes when you do art?
No shoes for me. Sometimes I like to wear slippers.

What do you listen to while you work?
I love to listen to all kinds of music. Somedays it’s Classical and other days it is David Bowie, Talking Heads, The Kinks, The Beatles, or 80’s Hip Hop.

I like my coffee with a little cream and honey.
