Jon Cannell’s art in Starbucks
Walking down the street in NYC we spotted Jon Cannell’s fabulous piece in Starbucks.
Our booths at Surtex NYC 2008
The show was great. We were three times busier than last year. It was pretty non-stop with attendees visiting us like Chronicle, Reform School, Dark Horse, Kohl’s, Crate and Barrel, Target, Land of Nod, Michael’s, and about 100 other people. Wow! Here are our pretty booths.
Patterns available for sale & licensing at Surtex this Sunday – Tuesday
Helen sends me like a new pattern every other minute, practically. She is brilliant. Influenced by all the contemporary blogs, yet clearly an original. Her experience living in varied European & North American countries has influenced her brain. She’s petite, a powerhouse, adorable, and the mother of 3 little girls. See her stylish studio here.
New Collections from Trina Dalziel
Ok, there are two things to tell you about the lovely Trina. One, her last name is pronounced “D’ “L”. Just D-L. I like that.
Secondly, she seems like she’s from another time. Charming, delicate, British, her work has a far-away feeling, dreamy. I get to sell her charming work.
She’s a fantastic editorial illustrator additionally, but right now I’m blogging collections of hers today since we’re Surtex crazed.

Come to Surtex and get pinned!
We have wonderful buttons & pins created by our artists. Stop by our booths (Booths 510, 511, & 610) at the Surtex show this Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (May 18th-May 20th). We’re upstairs in the back on the left. This is a lovely area with lots of natural light, big and open, and doors to a balcony with a view of the Hudson. It’s a great place to relax with us and look at the art.
