Lilla in Uppercase Magazine!
This is what Uppercase’s Editor, Janine Vangool, wrote in the Uppercase Blog:
“In our current issue, Aaron Leighton interviews artist rep Lilla Rogers. Lilla has an amazing roster of talent and I was thrilled to be able to include images by a few of the artists. Matte Stephens created an original illustration for the fox cover, and below is a photo of Sarajo Frieden’s work (left, with embroidery by Marci Boudreau) and Amy Blay (right).
Thanks, Sarajo, for sending me the picture of the magazine in your studio. Looks like your cat is quite fond of it. And thank you, Lilla, for graciously lending your time for the interview — and for the lovely bouquet this week!
Congratulations to Sarajo on the release of Noonie’s Masterpiece, a children’s book she illustrated. Find out more about the book on Chronicle Books’ website.”

My “Home Sweet Home” prints have been out & about, popping-up all around town. The press is the icing-on-the-cake to a wonderful collaboration with Chronicle Books. Have a cheerful day, Suzy”

Lilla holds conference for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators
In mid-April, Lilla hosted over 20 members of the SCBWI at her studio and talked about “Tips for Success”.
Here is a excerpt for Ann Marie DiVeccia, the coordinator of the conference:
“Beautiful melon orange and lemon-lime hues greeted me along with the charming, and engaging Lilla.
There were paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling and samples of products fit neatly into racks. On an orange swivel chair was a pillow that had work on it by one of her artists. … Yes! Lilla’s space is one with the work she represents: bold, retro yet fresh, and joyful.”

Another attendee, Reine Sloan, described Lilla’s studio as “her website in 3D.” Read more of Reine’s blog here.
