Month: January 2009
A personal piece by Diane Bigda.
Matte Stephens’ new pieces commissioned by Endless Vacation Magazine.
Matte was asked to do these pieces on wacky, cool, different kinds of hotel structures for the October issue. I love these pieces.
Tomorrow: A lovely new personal piece by Diane Bigda
A pretty necklace of a friend.
I took this photo to show you this really pretty necklace. I do have lots of circles and loops in my bead collection and this shows what you can do with them. My friend who was wearing this into the studio was formerly an accessories buyer.
Tomorrow: Matte’s illustrations of different kinds of hotel structures
Trina’s piece for Spa Magazine
I love Trina’s colors and smooth vibe. She gets tons of editorial work, and you can see why. I’ve suggested to her that she do the background dots for me to sell at Printsource in January.
Tomorrow: A pretty necklace.
Just lots of pretty things spotted at Urban Outfitters recently.
I particularly like to shoot the prints and patterns and drawings, of course; I am an illustration rep. And an artist.
Tomorrow: Trina’s gorgeous colors and smooth vibe.
Printsource NYC
Susan, Julia and I are going to Printsource tomorrow until Thursday. They’ve asked me to speak on TREND, my favorite subject. If you’re in NYC, come see us and about 800 pieces of art. We will be having a ball. I hope to blog photos and news over the next few days, but we may be completely busy…
Late summer flowers from my garden.
This is a great example of how long it can take me to blog photos from inside my camera. With jewelry, for example, you never know when I took the photos, but with my garden flowers, when snow is on the ground, I am so busted.
Enjoy the colors. Subtle shades in the hydrangeas.
Inspiration for color ideas.
Monday: Stop back to see a bunch of great ceramic and fabric items seen at Urban Outfitters. And the Obama doll.
My artists wish me happy birthday.
This is a wonderful benefit of being an agent. Thought you’d enjoy seeing the art they created. Man, they are good. I love my artists. They are good people.
Allegra sent this photo from Sicily with well-wishes:
Diane B sent me this beautiful photograph with warm wishes:
Lovely, lovely pieces by Allegra Agliardi.
Allegra, who lives in Milan, writes:
Hello to everyone!
How are you?
I’m well, ready to go home in this rainy day.
I send you some images I’ve made for a website of textiles.

Ciao,
Tomorrow: See really pretty flowers from my garden.
One of our favorite antiques shops.
Jack Speyer Antiques is a shop in Northampton, Massachusetts. I had to take these pictures for the blog, dear reader, so you could see all these amazing paintings. Pay Jack a visit when you’re in Western Mass.
Tomorrow: Allegra Agliardi’s lovely pieces for Castellini textiles
