Lilla’s failproof strategy for incredible artist growth
In the final two videos of this short series, Lilla shares her failproof strategy for incredible artist growth. It’s about the way she teaches, and about the way you learn and stretch yourself.
Firstly, what’s so special about the Make Art That Sells class assignments? How does Lilla tailor them to maximize artists’ growth, and what does this mean for you?
Secondly, what’s in the weekly art review Lilla does in the Make Art That Sells classes? Why is it such a major factor in the incredible growth we see in MATS artists over the five weeks of the course? And why is it such a valuable learning tool for making art that sells? Find out here:
If you feel you could benefit from watching Lilla’s weekly reviews, and growing as an artist through the MATS professional-level weekly assignments, join us for Make Art That Sells Part A/B, starting this Monday (March 2). Sign up here, but hurry!

I have so enjoyed these short videos. I feel ready for MATS but am still a bit intimidated. I’ll keep watching and soon will be a “student”.
Delicious Stuff Lilla! Looking forward to the rigor and the magic of MATSA!
This is a busy time of year for me as I am traveling quite a bit so I am not able to give it my all with the MATS A + B class. I am already participating in Bootcamp! I am keeping my eye on you Lilla and savoring every word!
I wasn’t sure if I was “ready” to take MATS A last fall. Despite my internal fears, being a relative beginner, I am SO glad that I took the plunge to face a steep learning curve. Lilla’s (and her artists’/contributers’) insights, tips, and encouragement are an invaluable addition to anyone’s creative toolkit. MATS is such an intense but rewarding experience! Looking forward to Part B :)
Dear Lilla,
One of the things I really like about you is that you are working, not only to bring out the best in an artist and to find markets that suit them, but you help an artist find their unique self. Love that you ask what can this artist bring to a market that isn’t there.
thanks for this
Thanks so very much, everyone. It’s because I understand personally the struggles and triumphs of an artist’s life that I am so happy to share and help in any way I can. Hope to see you in class! xo
Lilla, thank you very much for sharing your wisdom and advice through these videos, I enjoyed them all!
Looking forward to apply what I been learning, and looking forward to be part of the MATS course in the future.
Have a wonderful day.
