It was a blast and I had a great response to my work which was exciting.

Very limited edition cocktail dress by Susy Pilgrim Waters at her craft fair.
Susy Pilgrim Waters writes:
“Hi Lilla,
I am writing to let you know that I made these tongue-in-cheek cocktail dresses (from a brain wave that Susan McCabe had!! Thank you Susan), with a design that I have just done for Crate & Barrel.
We got special permission and the edition is about 20, some expresso colored tunics and some “midnight shifts“.
This cocktail shaker design is also going to appear with 3 other designs on cocktail plates, some time in 2010.
They are printed in silver ink by my friend Rodney in Florida. We were at art school together in London, doing our degree, so its really nice to reconnect with him and make these items.
The trunk show at our house has amazing artists and crafts people , including our own Diane Bigda! Fine jewelers, potters, paper crafts etc…julie from POD. Tres chic.”
