“Whole Foods Market Oakville hosted a “Women in Business; a celebration of local women entrepreneurs” event last week. I participated in this, in between driving to London, Ontario, 2 hrs there, 2 hrs back for a press approval. aaah I’m so beat today I just feel like going back to bed! … but I’m a walking, talking woman in business right?… juggling kid, dog, partner, bills, headaches, yoga, sleep, work, eat, shop… No time to daydream kind of life.”

Jenn Ski says, “Hi Lilla! I will be part of the Fifth Annual Printing Arts Fair on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15th, from 10am-4pm. It will take place at The Museum of Printing, 800 Massachusetts Ave. in North Andover, MA. It’s co-sponsored by the Letterpress Guild of New England and the Museum, and the best part is it’s free! There will be Printing and Book Art demonstrations as well as vendor booths such as Albertine Press, B Designs, Carta, Inc., Rainy Planet Press, Sea Dog Press, Press Bound among others. There will be raffles and fun stuff for the kids.”

Two things about this: First is that Susy Pilgrim Waters did this fantastic poster. Second, Susy is also in this show at Nomad, selling her popular bags and t-shirts that we all have and love.

The show was great. We were three times busier than last year. It was pretty non-stop with attendees visiting us like Chronicle, Reform School, Dark Horse, Kohl’s, Crate and Barrel, Target, Land of Nod, Michael’s, and about 100 other people. Wow! Here are our pretty booths.
