Why do art directors love to buy, license and commission our artists’ work? Because they see our work showcased in top trend books, all over Pinterest, Instagram, featured in Land of Nod and Crate and Barrel, and on products sold in tons of shops all over the world, for starters. Our artists lead the way. Our artists’ art sells product.

New work by Hsinping Pan

Dear Lilla,

I made these two posters for a Taiwanese exhibition lately.
The theme of the show is”Play Together”. They invite designers and artists to create works that kids can enjoy.

Besides of the visual design for the show, I also made some rocking animals with my designer friends. They build rocking horse and other animals and then I painted on it.
You can see rabbit, tiger and giraffe here.Kids love it! We have a blast in the show!

And I also try to paint on the wall. It was new and fun!
So I just want to share with you! – Hsinping

Here I attached some photos.

The NY Empire State Building lit up in tribute to Nelson Mandela

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”

We will miss him.

Lilla goes to summer camp

Big news! I’m so excited to go to art camp in New Hampshire! I’ll be taking a painting class with my very own brilliant artist, Mati McDonough, an encaustic painting class and some other very cool options. I particularly like how small and intimate this will be, the fabulous setting, and the quality of instructors put together by the director, Susan Schwake. My buddy Mimi Kirchner, the doll maker, will be teaching, too! I know there are some spots left if you want to join in.
I can’t wait to paint!
