Introducing our new artist, Jenn Ski
Here are two facts: You may know that I get 1,000 submissions a year from artists around the world who would like representation. Also, I live a few miles from Harvard University. Well, it’s actually harder to get represented by Lilla Rogers Studio than to get accepted to Harvard. I’m just saying. My point is, we get a LOT of submissions, usually by email. But one day I was surfing etsy, and I saw the yellow image below. I found the design absolutely flawless, and the sensibility spot on. It stopped me in my surfing tracks. I bought a piece of Jenn’s work. Turns out she lives nearby, and I invited her to my class. Next thing, I invited her to be represented. Please enjoy her work.
Introducing our new artist, Elke Ehninger
What a great discovery: Elke. Her work is magical and dreamy. We are thrilled to rep her. Great for editorial and advertising work. Check out her full portfolio here. She’s big in Germany but unknown in the US. Give her a try. You won’t be disappointed.
New Collections from Trina Dalziel
Ok, there are two things to tell you about the lovely Trina. One, her last name is pronounced “D’ “L”. Just D-L. I like that.
Secondly, she seems like she’s from another time. Charming, delicate, British, her work has a far-away feeling, dreamy. I get to sell her charming work.
She’s a fantastic editorial illustrator additionally, but right now I’m blogging collections of hers today since we’re Surtex crazed.
NEW ARTIST: Matte Stephens
You all know Matte from Velocity, Etsy, and his great blog and lots of other blogs. We are honored to be representing him. What a great talent and a lovely, funny man. You’ll be seeing lots more of his work here. Call us to assign or license!

Susy Pilgrim Waters’ Chinese Lantern Series
Susy created this wonderful series on linen based on flowers from her gardens. I know these will get scooped up superfast for licensing. I can picture them on table linens, ceramic dinnerware, fabric, wall art. Did I leave anything major out? Her color combinations are fresh. How about that deep veridian green with the pale, faded lavender on the FRITTILARIA piece? I’m going to show you the matching patterns she did for this series at some point soon.
