Silvia Dekker’s new patterns for Dutch department store HEMA

Silvia writes:

“Hi Lilla,
These are a few new patterns for HEMA that I designed. The patterns are on many more items, but these are the ones I liked best, especially the tea towel with the flower patch stitched on. It’s always a nice surprise to see what my patterns are used for when I visit the stores!”

New textile work by Sarajo

Sarajo writes:

“Hi All,
I’ve been playing with different applications to some of my pattern work. It’s wonderful to be able to experiment this way without having to create large (and expensive) quantities of things. Here are some examples of the latest digital printing project I just completed for a client commission.”

Suzy Ultman for SweetiePie Press

Suzy writes:

“Hi Lilla!
This summer, I met a crafty Canadian all-star and head honcho of SweetiePie Press, Becky Johnson. SweetiePie specializes in commissioned artist buttons. My first set with Becky’s press is “High Street”, available alongside the likes of “Contamination”, “Deep Sea”, “Toofs” and “Botanical Magic”.

“High Street” is a collection of smiling buildings hailing from a midwest town with new england flair (thanks to 11 Connecticut families who settled the Ohio village in 1803). So, grab a pack of buttons and pin on some fashionable history.”

Buttons available here.

Suzy Ultman – Turtles & Toadstools

Suzy writes:

“Hi Lilla.
I am excited to share my latest Chronicle project. It started as a collage that I created from scraps of office paper (I love to cut & paste in my free time). I was thrilled when Chronicle adopted the collage for this fanciful journal. We thoughtfully designed every spread, from cover to cover, to add whimsy to your writing experience. My favorite is the turtle page with writing space in the shell. “Turtles & Toadstools” can be pre-ordered now, and will deliver in the new year. Happy Journaling!”
