‘I ♥ New York’ T-Shirt Gets Redesigned For ‘Hurricane Sandy’ Victims

When Hurricane Sandy struck, Chilean-born artist Sebastian Errazuriz found his New York studio “paralyzed” by the storm.

Unable to work and tired of watching the news unfold on TV, he decided to channel his energy into a worthy cause.

Taking the iconic ‘I Love New York’ t-shirt, he created two limited edition designer shirts to help raise funds for Hurricane Sandy victims.

According to Grey Area, his designs were inspired by the water line marked on walls of the flooded galleries in the Chelsea art district.

The shirts are available at US$40 each and all proceeds will go to Hurricane Sandy relief programs. You can purchase them here.
