Allison’s new collections for Camelot Fabrics
Allison writes:
“One of the fun things about attending a show like Printsource is that you never know what goodies you might go home with! I was happy to catch up with the lovely team from Camelot Fabrics at the show and they brought with them the strikeoffs for my new fabric collections, Festive Forest and Happy Jungle. Both collections will be in stores this upcoming March/April!”

Allison Cole’s photo albums spotted in Middlebury, VT.
In Middlebury for my college reunion, I strolled into town and in the adorable shop, Clementine, I espied Allison’s photo albums for Rag & Bone Bindery amidst other wonderful little treasures. Clementine also carries Selvedge Magazine – a British textile magazine that Susy Pilgrim Waters, Trina Dalziel, and Macrina Busato have all illustrated for. – Julia

Allison Cole for Pink Ghost
Allison writes:
“Hi Lilla,
The new artist chubby book I did for Pink Ghost is finally out and available for purchase! I am so happy to be holding the book in my hands. It is half notebook, half sketchbook – 250 pages total, hardcover. It also includes 10 full color tear out postcards. I had a ton of fun with this project, Paola gave me freedom to come up with the theme and she was wonderful to work with through the whole process. I had always wanted to do a circus themed project and this was the perfect opportunity!”

Allison Cole – new work in the October issue of Parents Magazine
Allison writes:
“Below are some images from a recent assignment for Parents Magazine, they were wonderful to work with!
I illustrated a spread and three spots for an article about the role that birth order plays in personality development.
I also had the opportunity to try out a new technique that I have been working on for a while. My goal was to combine the texture and shadow from my cut-paper fine art with the drawing style of my editorial work. I hope you like how it turned out!”
