We’re excited to invite you to join us TODAY at 12:30 PM ET for the next in our series of WebinARTs with our artist Jennifer M Potter, who has worked on a variety of incredible illustration projects for clients such as The American Library Association, The Boston Children’s Museum, Henry Holt Books for Young Readers, Nosy Crow, Running Press, Sasquatch Books, The Washington Post, Up With Paper, and more.
Click here to join our free public WebinART on Zoom with our artist
Jennifer M Potter today at 12:30 PM ET.

I’ll ask her how she transitioned to a full-time career as a freelance illustrator, how she creates such dramatic cinematic pieces (hint: she studied animation, comics and storyboarding at SCAD), what her very favorite illustration project was and why, and how she stays organized. If nothing else, come for the gorgeous work in the slideshow. Plus we’ll take a few questions live.
One lucky participant will win Jennifer Potter’s lushly, fully illustrated book,
Voices of Justice.
We can’t wait to see you there!

At the end of our weekly Zoom staff meetings, Patty, our studio assistant and yoga teacher leads us on a relaxing meditation. We slide back in our chairs, close our eyes, and breathe. Patty says, “Meditation brings us back to our bodies, what’s real and present, and out of our fears for the future.”
Agent Kim Fleming selected a number of meditative illustrations she thought you’d enjoy. I love Mara Penny‘s bath scene full of floating fruit slices and flowers and Trina Dalziel‘s mustachioed man and guitar, below.
